First I am a woman who orders the mens Vibrams due to my wider feet and some swelling I tend to get. I ordered the mens Bikila LS. Unfortunately, the lacing system did not have enough lace length for me to get the shoe open enough to get my toes into the shoe. So I removed the lacing system and replaced it with regular shoe laces. Solution found, works great, and I am able to wear my Bikila LS. Can't wait to order a few more pair.

First I would like to say, I am a girl. Yes I bought the men's version. I refuse to wear neon pink/purple/blue or whatever obnoxious women's colors are currently out. I bought a men's 40 which falls right between the women's 41 and 42. These shoes are so light and comfortable. Looking forward to trying some other styles. I don't think I can go back to traditional shoes again.

I ran x-country (corn field, trail & black top) in HS wearing PUMA flats. My kick and toe style of running won me a lot of races. Right off the start line I'd go rabbit hunting. A few years ago purchased two pairs of the original 2005 NIKE Free 5.0 the year after they came out. What a flex pattern and with the insoles removed I thought they were the best ever. But been looking for a shoe that would bring back that thrill of barefooting. I belieive I am now in love again with my shoes. The Bikila LS feel so wonderful like I'm a kid again. Once I saw the speed lacing I was sold. The choice of name Abebe 'Bikila' was a nice touch. Do you homework before buying even coming from the Nike Free these took a few times to get used to mostly not dropping my heal first as can be done in most shoes.

i met a guy and he was wearing these. i have a pair myself and theyre great but the story this man told me blew my mind. he had knees that bent inward and his doctor told him that in a year he would be in a wheelchair. he bought these shoes and after a month his knees straightened out and now he can walk normal again and he will never be in a wheelchair. i will never forget that. i am diehard vibram shoes now

Ran my 2nd Half Marathon at OKC, first in these shoes on May the 1st. They take some time to build up the mileage in them, but you are rewarded with no blisters and for me it took away my achiles tendonitus.
