I absolutely love them. I have run about 100+ miles in my first pair, and besides the dreadful odor, they have held up well, even after a few washes. Wearing these things makes running fun in a way I never thought possible and I have always loved running. And the best part is, after running in these for the past year, I'm totally injury free and my knees never bother me and I've run up to 10 miles at once in them on roads.

I was very happy with these Bikila Five Finger shoes for about 2 months. Then I noticed that they began delaminating. After another month or two I noticed that the main padding on the bottom of the shoes was wearing thru to the inner nylon and eventually thru to skin of my foot. I am NOT a runner. I am an ardent walker of about 1 mile every day on grassy parkways and over intermittent concrete driveways. These shoes did NOT stand up to this mild use.
If you can afford to pay about $100 every 4-6 months for new Bikila, then will be happy. If you cannot afford such wasteful expenditures, then avoid these shoes.

I love these shoes. They are great for running but also look great with jeans. I took them for a run and no issues what so ever.
Had a slight issue with my left big toe size, but found an easy fix on birthdayshoes.com. Great shiping and handling time...

I have been running in the five fingers for almost a year, after going for years of not being able to run because of the pain that traditional running shoes caused in my knees and back. In a matter of 11 months I went from not being able to run more than 1 mile without sharp knee pain, to running a 3:35 marathon pain free. I wear both Bikila and the sprint models and love them both.
