I have had mine 18 months. One small tear but my wife sewed them and they are fine. I will have another pair. I have Sport Trek.

I'm a woman with VFF size 42 feet (women's 11) so I had to buy the men's Bikilas to fit. I've owned the same pair for 18 months and have loved every single run in them. The soles have needed repair with Shoe Goo (found on Amazon) countless times, but for the cost of a tube it's no big deal to me. Other than the soles, I have had no other wear or tear. They've held up through near-monthly washings, mud, rain, gravel and pavement. Great for running and I won't be going back to shoes.

I've had the shoes for over 8 months now. Yes, they do wear but that's to be expected. I'm surprised to hear others complain about how quickly they wear. I've put in over 250 miles on these and they are holding on strong. There is still plenty of tread on the bottom. The only issue I've had has been minor, with a little seam splitting open on the side of my right shoe below the big toe. Other than that, they are excellent and I can't go back to regular running shoes. My knees no longer hurt from running so much. I think the less experienced runners that are complaining about the shoes might want to check their running form and how that might cause premature wear of the shoes.

I really do love these shoes, but the "toenails" ripped off the upper in the first week, the reflective parts ripped off, and the sole is starting to sepperate. I know they are only shoes, but it would be nice if they lasted a little longer. I know that the kso last longer than the bikila for some reason.

You will like these shoes for the first 2 months. Then will notice that the soles began to wear out. After 2-3 months, you will notice that the soles will delaminate from the uppers. Then you will see that the soles wear thru to the skin. I am a moderate urban walker and this is my experience.
