I live in Boston and needed some boots for the winter that would keep my feet warm and dry. The North Face Chilkats do that with comfort. The only thing not perfect about these is that sometimes when I lace them up, they hit the front of my shins in a weird spot and hurt a little bit, but it doesn't happen very much, just at odd moments. Overall, very satisfied!
