Compared to other road flats, these are lighter than most. At the same time they are better cushioned than nearly all of them, but yet still ride reasonably low to the ground and are very flexible. They fit very well in the midfoot and forefoot, but are ever so slightly loose around the heel. Blistering, hot spots, and chaffing have never been an issue for me in this shoe. Durability is better than most shoes of the same weight. In my view these are easily the best marathon racing flats available, and are as good as any available for 5Ks. For road miles or other very short road events, they are still a great shoe but are a bit softer than ideal. Considering its capability at all race distances, and its extremely light weight relative to the cushioning it provides, this is the best overall road flat that I have tried and I have run in many. Note: This color listing as Lime-Blue is not the Neo Lime - Glacier Blue color, but the Pure Platinum - Volt color as depicted.
