Stability and Motion Control Running Shoes
Stability running shoes are designed for runners who need maximum cushioning and stability. Typically, runners who need a stability shoe have arches that over-pronate (or collapse inwardly). If you think this might be you, take a look at the wear pattern on the bottom of your running shoes. If you wear out the tread on the outer edge of the heel, and the tread near the ball of the foot, you probably need stability running shoes or motion control shoes.
City Sports has a large selection of stability running shoes to choose from in a variety of styles and brands, including ASICS, Brooks, Mizuno, New Balance, Nike and Saucony.
Speak to one of our in-store running experts to get a gait analysis before buying any stability shoes to make sure you’re an over-pronator. They can help you select the right motion control shoe that will support your arches and keep you running at your peak performance.
