This coat is perfect for anyone that has to be outside for extended periods of time in harsh winter weather. It does an incredible job of keeping you warm during those cold winter days.
Like the previous commenter, I too was worried about the bulkiness of this coat. However, once I tried it on, I loved the way it fit. I bought this coat a little over two weeks ago, and I cannot begin to tell you how many compliments I have received on it. I was at an outdoor event last weekend (most of the day was in the low teens), and was quite comfortable. So far, I am extremely happy with this purchase.

I searched for hours and hours online and in stores to find the perfect down coat. I wanted one with a hood and preferably without the fur ruff. This is honestly the perfect jacket. it is unbelievably warm, and has a cozy inner fleece lining that i love. The hood is plush with down, and has a great draw string to cinch around the head. The fur ruff is removable which is even better (it does look kinda cheap)! The chevron design slims too! I am a 34C, size 4 with an average build (larger arms) and the medium fit well for layering, while the small also fit, but i would have been uncomfortable with anything bulky underneath. Both jackets looked about the same (size wise) when tried on, so I went with the medium.

This coat is perfect for the cold New England weather, but I found this coat too bulky unlike the Northface Metropolis. The fit was also different. I am normally a size S in NF, but have to get a size M in this coat. Overall I think it's a good buy for the warmth it provides and the extra fleece lining inside.
