They're fitted just right so that they don't swing or get in the way but are comfortable to lounge in as well.

To me the most important thing in purchasing running shorts is in the following; Fit, Comfort, and Pockets. These guys fit great, they feel as if they are really secure and you don't even have to wear underwear in these because it's got that webbing area that holds your junk. A+ From me in this department because these shorts are really soft and comfortable. After running in them I felt great. In regards to pockets, they don't have the traditional two pockets on the sides, but that's really no problem because it does have an essential key pouch in the inner seams of it. And finally, for it's price, these shorts are a far better option than buying big name brand shorts.
